It has been eventful month of tennis in USA. In March I was lucky enough to travel to both Master Series tournaments, first to Indian Wells BNP Paribas and later to Miami Open. Even though that both tournaments are Master Series they could have not been more different from one another.

Indian Wells, set into Californian desert is very well organized, super clean and very neat tournament. It is fully dedicated to tennis and there is not much else happening around Indian Wells. The attendees are in majority retired, but you also see some young families strolling around. ATP and WTA players love the tournament since they have easy access to hotels, transportation, pools and golf.

On the other hand Miami Open is located on the island of Key Biscayne. This tournament is the middle of hustle and if you enjoy high speed life along with beach life of South Beach this is the place to be. I enjoy staying at South Beach, which is about 30 minutes Uber ride to Key Biscayne. Another option is to stay in downtown Miami, which is about 15 minutes away from tournament.

Both tournaments were centered around Roger Federer, as he won both tournaments. This is an amazing result for Roger and he has been playing some of the best tennis of his life. It seems he is skipping clay court season altogether, but we are expecting to see him play French Open. He will play grass season and we are expecting for Roger to dominate tennis world again.  What an exciting season of tennis ahead of us!
