Fall is Girls High School tennis season. Ursula Tennis had three freshmen girls playing for their teams this past fall (Homestead, Saint Francis, Menlo). We are very proud of their amazing results over the last couple of months.

Homestead Mustangs

Cindy Zhou played for Homestead JV team (Mustang), where she won all her singles and doubles matches. The team had a successful run, where they won all of their matches (14-0). Cindy dominated in deciding match against Los Gatos High, where she won 6-3 6-1 at #4 singles.

Menlo Knights

Yvonne Li was part of Menlo High JV team, where she won 7 singles matches and lost 4. Menlo JV team had 9-3 overall standing at the end of the season (3-1 league record).

Saint Francis Lancers

Elise Yang, also a freshman, played for Varsity Team of Saint Francis High School. She competed very well, winning 12 out of 13 singles matches. SFHS is finishing their season with 14-4 record. Lancers also reached finals of CSS tournament, where they lost against Los Gatos High School. As second-placed, they are continuing on-to State Championship this weekend in Sacramento.
